you never know how your big plans unfold posted on 28 August 2010 in Computers My dad brought home a home theater system which was ridiculously expensive. My family and I were pretty excited on our new purchase. We decided to watch the newly released movie, eclipse on our home theater system on the coming Saturday night. the box that the home theater system was packed in, boasted of a an experience like that in the actual cinema. Days crept by and finally it was Saturday night. We took the precious home theater system out of the box and started setting it up. the plan was to connect the laptop to the system and then connect it to the projector so that we can watch the movie on a screen that is big. connecting the computer to the projector was not a problem but when we saw the connecting wires of the home theater system we realized that none of us knew how to connect home theater to computer. the instruction manual had some pretty complicated instructions. i even searched the internet regarding this matter but being a technology challenged family, we could not figure it out and our big Saturday might was spent pouring over the instruction manual and munching in the popcorns and slurping the drinks that were kept for during the movie.

Many people are using ebay agents to sell items from their warehouses and homes. I imagine that Ebay makes a really nice profit at the end of the year. I tried to find ebay headquarters phone number so I could get more informationn on listing. My ebay agent wasn't doing her job so I had to let her go. Now I am trying to tie up loose ends. I really don't quite understand how to list and what percentage goes to ebay. Something about if you list as no reserve ebay doesn't get a high percentage but if you list with a buy it now feature then ebay gets more. I really am confused. I couldn't find a phone number for ebay headquarters. I did find an email address for them. I really wanted to talk to a human being. I think I am going to find a new ebay agent. At least it won't be a headache for me. I really prefer to buy things and have someone else list them for sale. Some day I am going to San Hose, CA. and tour the headquarters.

want to put a movie on ipod posted on 19 August 2010 in Technology I love anything apple makes, I own almost every gadget they make apart from the ipad (I don't see the point myself). My ipod is still my go to gadget though, go everywhere with it, in fact I would go so far as to say I feel naked if it isn't either on me or next to me. Now after this long I am wondering can i put a dvd on my ipod so I can watch it on the bus or train or wherever. I saw someone on the train watching a movie or tv show on his ipod yesterday and thought I would give it another go. It was one of the things I was really psyched about when I first got it and I did try and do it many moons ago but I had difficulty so gave up. Now after having completely forgotten about that particular feature the guy on the train reminded me and I just thought that if he can do it why can't I. Its can't be that hard.

He had heard the rumor going around that the company was downsizing and many employees would get fired. He was the sole provider for his family and prayed that it wasn't him. Just the thought of not having a job was depressing for him. He started getting all kinds of negative thoughts in his mind and couldn't focus on work that day. After going home and seeing his wife and kids, he just wondered how they would manage without his earnings. He sat saddened down and asked himself, "how much would i receive from unemployment"? He thought of the years he had spent in the company and based on that they should give him a good compensation. But nothing was sure. Next day when he went to work, the management put up a list of employees who were fired. Harry was most relieved to see that his name was not on the list. He breathed a sigh of relief and went back to work. He simply got stressed over nothing.
