I have seen enough business people buying traffic from companies that deal with such businesses online in order to maintain a top position in the search engines. In as much as this is a good thing because it makes you popular than your competitors in the market, it is not always safe for you as a business person and it can destroy your businesses in the end. Actually, increasing traffic to your website through buying traffic is a dangerous affair that business people need to avoid by all means. It is good to design your website in such a way that it is generating its own traffic other than relying on the bought traffic. What happens is that you as a business person, you are responsible for the legitimacy of any click that takes place in your website. You will be held responsible in case the clicks are not genuine ones, which can bring you down faster than you went up the ladder of success. This is not something you want to happen to you, therefore be careful.
