Don't worry over something that is uncertain

Harry was a sincere and honest worker at the factory. He had heard the rumor going around that the company was downsizing and many employees would get fired. He was the sole provider for his family and prayed that it wasn't him. Just the thought of not having a job was depressing for him. He started getting all kinds of negative thoughts in his mind and couldn't focus on work that day. After going home and seeing his wife and kids, he just wondered how they would manage without his earnings. He sat saddened down and asked himself, "how much would i receive from unemployment"? He thought of the years he had spent in the company and based on that they should give him a good compensation. But nothing was sure. Next day when he went to work, the management put up a list of employees who were fired. Harry was most relieved to see that his name was not on the list. He breathed a sigh of relief and went back to work. He simply got stressed over nothing.
