Like any other ordinary product, passports also do expire and require renewal as soon as they expire or when they are about to expire. This is because an expired passport, if not renewed on time may cost the holder great losses that would have been avoided if the renewal was done on time. Thus a person who understands the quality of time and who would not like any inconveniences especially when traveling would ensure that he renews the passport as frequent as possible. A passport current status should also be maintained such that if there is any change that may be required like an address then that should be dealt with as soon as possible. Faulty addresses may also cost the user a lot of money or important documents from the receiver. This is for instance when one travels to a country and there expect a document from the country, the loss may be incurred when the document is sent to undeserving person. I have never been out of our country until last holiday. My elder sister surprised me with a trip to Africa. She had a job research to do in Egypt and she wanted me to come along. I was very excited. Since I did not have a passport, I applied for an urgent passport and after getting it, I sought an egypt visa from our travelling authority's offices. It was not really hard at all, or so I thought,. I was too excited to realize what was hard and what was not. We managed to go to Africa at the date my sister had planned. I had so much fun. They have so many beautiful things there, together with the culture of the Egyptians. The people are very friendly and they told us stories about their culture with so much passion. I wish I could have stayed longer but since my sister was supposed to go back to work after a month, we had to fly back to our country. All I have for memories now are photos and videos I took there. |

Thinking of travelling? Many of us really like visiting new countries so that they can get to explore what the inhabitants that live there do. No one does not like learning new things and when you get a chance to ,you take with both hand cause you never know if you will ever get it again. I am always one busy accountant in my company and my employer really likes the work that i do. So they decided to surprise me one day by giving a ticket to go to any country of my choice so that they can go and relax myself. They felt that i have been working tirelessly without giving myself rest and so they wanted me to go and relax. I did not refuse the offer but i took it and ran to the immigration office so that i can inquire the process of applying for a passport. I wanted to do as early as possible so that i can have it before the date of my trip. They gave me the application form so that i could fill in. |

Doris is all set to leave for New Zealand, where she is going to be enrolled in a special program for nursing students. She has been granted a student visa but what&rsquos nice is that she can bring her husband along. What&rsquos even better is that while Doris is in school, her husband can actually find employment in New Zealand. It should not be a problem because Choon&rsquos profession as a computer programmer is quite in demand anywhere in the world. The problem is they should be leaving in a few weeks but their passports have not yet arrived. They are now seeking the assistance of the passport tracking service to find out what&rsquos taking their passports so long. Doris is in fact becoming very impatient about this. They have lots of things to prepare and to think about and this passport delay is causing them so much stress. If the passports don&rsquot arrive anytime soon, they will have to wait for the second semester before they can travel again. The passports better be mailed really soon. |

I sent my app off about 3 weeks ago now for a basic renewal service but i have not heard anything yet. I was told in the post office it should take about 2-3 weeks but nothing has been heard. One of my friends said this is a good thing though because they will only get in touch if there is a problem with the application. I wish they had some sort of passport renewal status checker on their site or something. I know that with Irish passport apps you can do this which makes life a lot easier. I am rushing a bit because i need this passport back by next week so i can travel at the weekend with it. I can't go anywhere without it so it is getting a bit desperate now. I have been phoning the office to see what's going on but they can never tell me anything. I may end up having to go into the office in person and speak to someone to get some straight answers. |
