Jim, I called for you because there is something very important that we need to discuss. You have been around for quite some time, haven't you? Twelve years is a long time, and I must thank you for the loyalty and the dedicated service you have extended to the company all these years. Unknown to you, I have been closely observing you and I want to congratulate you because you have been very consistent with your performance in your job. I am impressed. Because of this, I have recommended you to the board to be among the nominees for the position of a branch manager. You see, I will be retiring soon and before I leave I need to choose someone qualified to take over my position. I have chosen you, Jim. I believe that with the right leadership coaching, you will be a great leader one day. I know that I will not regret this decision because I have seen how hard you work. This can be overwhelming, I know. But I'm sure you'll do just great. |

One thing about Carla that makes her different from most people is that she is not so fond of gifts - be it as a receiver or a giver. She tells her friends not to buy presents for her because it makes her feel uncomfortable. In the same way, she is not also so keen in giving presents to family and friends, even when there are special occasions. One time, when her niece, Nikki was about to celebrate her birthday, she approached Carla and said, Aunt Carla, my birthday is fast approaching. I know you don't like giving gifts but I will demand that you go out of your way to get me any birthday presents for girls age 11. Why? Well, aside from the fact that I have been a good girl all my life, you promised me a long time ago that if and when I get top honors in class, you are going to reward me with anything I want. Do you remember? Carla was speechless because she remembers that she did make a promise. |

For those people who have watched the twilight movies then they know how amazing those movies are. Teenagers for one are very amused by those movies it is very interesting. These girls have watched all the twilight movies and they will take any twilight keepsake to feel closer to the twilight movie characters. That is why birthday presents for girls who love twilight movies cannot be that hard to shop for. That is if the person buying the present knows what the girl in question likes. If they like twilight then they are in luck because there are very many twilight goodies out there. My son has this friend who really likes the movie. When the movie came out, her mother and I had to take them watch the movie opening which was at midnight. For her birthday, he bought her a twilight bag pack and that girl was really exited. He even got his first real hug from his friend who just happened to be a girl. Anyway, shopping for kids of this generation is not that hard. |
